NGO's have reacted mostly disappointment to the Deauville Declaration with its lack of commitments, specifics and wierd inclusion of two sets of numbers on the progress on their pledges. |

French HIV/AIDS groups took centre stage in the G8 International Media Centre as Miss Promises paraded through the centre to highlight the lack of progress by the G8 to deliver on HIV/AIDS pledges. 
Veteran G8 campaigners, Oxfam, have kicked of the G8 Summit week by rolling out their famous G8 big heads for a game of bluff to demand the G8 recommit to Muskoka, L'Aquilla and Gleneagles Commitments.

Updated: The G8 released its 2011 Accountability Report which reviews the progress member countries have made to meet their previous commitments. The NGO community is not impressed and have accused the G8 of whitewashing the real figures.
